From December 15th through December 18, Washington Heritage University hosted the TRACS team for the five-year reaffirmation site visit. During the visit, representatives from TRACS met with university leadership, faculty, staff, and students to review documentation and discuss the institution’s mission, academic programs, and operations.
The site visit is a standard part of the reaffirmation process and provides an opportunity for peer evaluators to verify compliance with TRACS standards. Washington Heritage University appreciates the time and effort the visiting team dedicated to this important institutional review. The university will receive an official report from TRACS outlining the findings and next steps in the reaffirmation process.
Hosting an accreditation site visit is a collaborative effort that involves extensive campus-wide preparation. In advance of the visit, Washington Heritage University submitted a detailed self-study report and supporting documentation addressing each TRACS standard. The reaffirmation process helps ensure the university operates in accordance with its mission and maintains high standards of integrity and effectiveness in all areas.
Following the visit, TRACS will provide an official written report summarizing the team’s observations and recommendations. Washington Heritage University will then have the opportunity to review the report and submit a formal response. The TRACS Accreditation Commission will consider both documents during its upcoming meeting before notifying the university of the reaffirmation decision.
Washington Heritage University appreciates the dedication of the TRACS evaluation team and the many members of the university community who contributed to this important institutional process.
